Memorial Mass at St James Church in Riverton

St Joseph the Worker August 3, 2025 10:30 am
700 E Spruce Street, Chatham, IL – Phone: 217-483-3772
Our monthly memorial Memorial Mass for our deceased Catholic War Veterans was held at Saint Joseph the Worker church on Aug 3, 20205.

The 10:30 Mass is recorded live on YouTube every week.
Before Mass, Rosemary Connolly explained the Catholic War Veterans to the congregation. You can fast forward to the opening remarks at 12:35 on the timer. Also later you can hear our intention during the petitions.
This memorial Mass is mentioned in the Sunday bulletin here:
Sunday was Gold Star/Veterans Day at the Illinois State Fair. Part of the event included a veterans resource fair in which we had a table for information about our organization. A few applications were picked up.
After the tables were broken down, there were veterans organizations on parade through the state fair ground. Participants included Charlie Jiardina, Rose Connolly and Dan Schumacher.
